My name is Selom Assignon. I'm currently the Interim Dean at Dawson Technical Institute of Kenned-King College, which is one of the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC). I'm in charge of the day- to- day operation of the institute and also oversee the Continuing Education department. Part of my responsibilities include among others, faculty evaluation, faculty development seminars, collaborate with community based organization to foster training partnerships, and making sure that we operate within budget.
I also coordinate and lead numerous projects in the Continuing Education department such, advertising programs, design and development of schedules and represent the institute at various meetings.
